kepic Name: Friendica Homepage: https://friendi.ca Short description: A federated social media platform Optional API documentation URL: https://github.com/friendica/friendica/wiki/Friendica-API Friendica has structured information blocks on the profile pages, but they also have free-form bio. Either should work.
yarmo We might get away with using this API call: users/show? Not sure yet, I need to see what kind of data it returns. Do you happen to have a test account?
feb profile/users Testaccount: https://loma.ml/profile/test_account Feel free to contact us if you need a separate account.
yarmo Friendica supports ActivityPub and so does Keyoxide nowadays, so nothing to do, Friendica is already supported 🙂
feb The Friendica profile address has been labelled as invalid for a few days. Nothing has been changed to the PGP key. It had worked until then. What could have gone wrong? https://keyoxide.org/E57EF7A2E64D8A8A1845B3FFE47166BB9E3E18DF
feb @crabwalk I have to assume that there has been a change on the Keyoxide side. Friendica has not changed its spelling for Handle and it had worked between May and November.
feb @crabwalk Yes, you can find the proof as a txt in the DNS settings and as a URL: https://loma.ml/keybase.txt
crabwalk feb Adding proof to profile did not work - unsure if it ever did. What works is adding the proof into a post and adding Post URL to claim.
feb @crabwalk You have to trust the work of @yarmo. It had worked. Hence the positive feedback from Mar 14, 2023.
crabwalk Known issue as per https://codeberg.org/keyoxide/keyoxide-web/issues/176 Proof via post is the way. Don't think proof in profile is coming back.
feb Thank you for your research. As described in the problem further described this is not the reason for the missing verification. Your server is not blocked or listed in the separate META data limitation list cited.
