GideonBear It's a nice idea, but requires changes on the PyPI end in order to make it possible. First https://pypi.org is powered by the software called warehouse that lives here: https://github.com/pypi/warehouse If you do a quick search you'll soon realize that warehouse currently does not expose user API: https://github.com/pypi/warehouse/issues/15769 but work is under progress: https://github.com/pypi/warehouse/pull/17352 However, that again won't help us much because internally PyPI accounts are represented as SQLAlchemy models which simply don't have any sorf of bio/description/user links field: https://github.com/pypi/warehouse/blob/4c28b41/warehouse/accounts/models.py#L67

Long story short:

There is no place (database field) to put Keyoxide proof inside
(Currently) there is no API route to fetch PyPI user data

Luckily, I was able to recall most of this info straight from my cache since I previously did a PyPI support investigation, but please make sure to actually look into the linked documentation/source code, cause maintainer resources are very scarce and we certainly don't want to further waste them. Similarly to what I mentioned in https://community.keyoxide.org/d/386-add-cratesio, a user could upload a python package with the proof as name/description. However, I don't know if there is a way to link this back to a PyPI account, only to a user-specified "author" which is obviously not what we want.

If this is an actual request for people requesting service providers, can this be added to https://community.keyoxide.org/d/2-read-before-posting? I simply wanted to say "here's an idea for a service provider that you haven't added yet", and the "READ BEFORE POSTING" post seems to suggest I can just do that (the only requirement being it wasn't suggested before, and the API documentation URL being optional), while you're suggesting I put more effort in (which is absolutely not a problem, just not what I expected, and probably not what other users will expect either).
